Catalogue Returns

Upstairs they’re sorting catalogues. These are the piles ↑
As you can see “gone away” pile is the biggest. It’s for people who don’t live where we think they live. We thought we had it pretty nailed… So if you’re not getting your catalogue because you’ve moved or if you have any other catalogue mailing anomalies. Then drop an email to mydetails@howies.co.uk.
NB: All the catalogues are getting sent to our shops for a second try (we sticker over the original address).

Secondly – thank you for confusing me with the surprisingly resilient enveloplessness of it all;
Thirdly – is there a reason for duplication of addresses when these would have no doubt been stored electronically prior to printing?

you keep sending me two – I asked a few times not to as it is a waste. I remember the days when you used to only give out catalogues sparingly because of the costs to Howies and to the planet. Now you send them out willy nilly and have hundreds in your stores. Maybe you need to clean out duplicate addresses in your mailing list database.

ian and @nthony you are totally right – we shouldn’t be sending more than one catalogue to each customer. We’re working on getting our systems in order so this doesn’t happen and we send less duplicates every time.
We don’t send the catalogues out willy nilly, we only send them to people who have asked for them. If you don’t want to receive physical catalogues and would rather just look online, please let us know!

one person. one catalogue. and you have to ask for one to get one.
our systems needs to get a bit better for sure.
but i think we are far from being willy nilly with catalogue

You used to send me 3 or 4 for some reason! But this has been sorted to the extent that I had to request one this year!
Its only a little thing but you arent sending them with envelopes, but what about the glue that you used to stick the inner bits in? and the label? Surely paper can at least be recycled? Just wondering :)

In my case, i have asked 3 times to get a catalogue (Ss08, AW08, SS09) and i have never get one.
Well ok, i’m living in France, so it may cost too much for you, but in this case, it might be good to notify us that you only send catalog in UK.
So bad, because every howies catalogue i’ve seen (on the web or at my office where we had some) were like a piece of art for me.

I was also receiving two catalogues but after I notified you I haven’t been receiving any unless it comes with an order. I’ve re-registered since to request catalogues but this has also failed to provide me with your excellent publication. Hope you can rectify.
