This photo captures the moment when Ade was told that his team were actually in 9th position at Bristol Bike Fest and that they had a chance of actually doing rather quite well. You can see the agonising conflict of the decision going through his head:

‘Do I let my competitive side take over and really go for it at this risk of a very sore backside and hellish drive home; or do I sit back, relax and look forward to the beer at the end of it all?’

We think in the end that he went for a middle road. Yes he got the sore nether-regions but he was also provided with a keg of Zero Degrees ale that we had left-over in the shop.

Big thanks to everyone who visited our stall over the weekend. Amy and Will did a terrific job of ferrying stuff to and from the site, and had a great time in the process.
